The traditional Christian nativity scene on the courthouse lawn has been joined this year by a non-religious banner called a HumanLight display.

Wabash County resident Casey Jones sought and received permission from the Wabash County Commissioners earlier in the month to place a banner on the grounds, which reads: “Atheists, Freethinkers and Humanists celebrate HumanLight.”
